‘Dark matter’ and ‘string theory’ are fantastical cheats thought up by physicists to explain away what they don’t understand. They have never experimentally proven dark matter or strings in any way. Those two theories are a cheat to cover the fact that they don’t really know the real answer. Now they’re coming up with extra dimensions and other flights of fancy that are yet unproven by experiments or any other evidence besides basically describing the phenomena they do not understand.
