There would be no war if we had not expanded NATO.

Prior to the invasion of Ukraine, the last nations bordering Russia that were admitted to NATO were Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia in 2004. The only other nations since then (orior to the Ukrainian invasion) were the small nations of Albania, Croatia, North Macedonia and Montenegro. They do not border Russia. Since the Ukraine War started, Finland and Sweden have joined NATO. I wonder why? /s
