Leonard Serrato, formerly of the University of Oregon, decided to vent on social media, telling Trump supporters to kill themselves. Mind you, this man is the university’s fraternity and sorority assistant director.
"I don't care if we've been friends our entire lives, you can go f--- yourself if you voted for Donald Trump," he said in the video. "If you are so sad about your groceries being expensive, get a f------- better-paying job. Do better in life, get a f------ education, do something, because you are f------ stupid, and I hope you go jump off of a f----- bridge."

My immediate impression of this guy on “X” is he’s a queer.
She also never said it.
“He had been a grad student for around 20 years. (You read that correctly)”
Oh I believe it. And just like this guy, they make college their career which makes them uniquely unqualified and ignorant as to understanding how the REAL world works.
> Oh I’m sure he’ll resurface at some other liberal institution. <
If a betting site was making book on that, I’d instantly bet $200 that you are right.
(I can’t bet more than $200 because Bidenflation has taken away most of my discretionary income.)
We should kill ourselves because Lenny can’t win. Logic ain’t the Left’s strong suite.
what do you think? Revisionis history?
It’s one of the most famous quotes in history. At some point around 1789, when being told that her French subjects had no bread, Marie-Antoinette (bride of France’s King Louis XVI) supposedly sniffed, “Qu’ils mangent de la brioche”—“Let them eat cake.” With that callous remark, the queen became a hated symbol of the decadent monarchy and fueled the revolution that would cause her to (literally) lose her head several years later.
But did Marie-Antoinette really say those infuriating words? Not according to historians. Lady Antonia Fraser, author of a biography of the French queen, believes the quote would have been highly uncharacteristic of Marie-Antoinette, an intelligent woman who donated generously to charitable causes and, despite her own undeniably lavish lifestyle, displayed sensitivity towards the poor population of France.
That aside, what’s even more convincing is the fact that the “Let them eat cake” story had been floating around for years before 1789. It was first told in a slightly different form about Marie-Thérèse, the Spanish princess who married King Louis XIV in 1660. She allegedly suggested that the French people eat “la croûte de pâté” (or the crust of the pâté).
Over the next century, several other 18th-century royals were also blamed for the remark, including two aunts of Louis XVI. Most famously, the philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau included the pâté story in his Confessions in 1766, attributing the words to “a great princess” (probably Marie-Thérèse).
Whoever uttered those unforgettable words, it was almost certainly not Marie-Antoinette, who at the time Rousseau was writing was only 10 years old—three years away from marrying the French prince and eight years from becoming queen.

Merry Christmas
I figured it was apocryphal.
So many “quotes” are. LOL.
But we’ll always have Paris.
Play it again Sam.
History is written by the victors, I guess. :-)
Merry Christmas to you too.
“Logic ain’t the Left’s strong suite.”
Common sense either for that matter......if he had any at all he’d of known better than to post that hate-filled rant.
Precisely the type of aristocrat that the French dispatched so efficiently during their revolution...
Thanks....I found this particularly disturbing:
“Serrato was jailed for 90 days more than a decade ago after the then-senior at Fresno State brought alcohol for a party with new members at his frat house, according to a report.
An 18-year-old pledge died that night, which landed Serrato in legal trouble, he recalled in a 2021 press release about him joining a job at the University of Indiana.”
And yet he STILL landed a position at a college. Unbelievable. SMH
How do you stay a Grad student for 20 years? Was he working on the ultimate PHD thesis?
Oh heck, then he might be like many government employees. Great salary and benefits and yet out of touch with reality.
Marie Antoinette really did say the quote cited in my post #13. I know that because my great-great-grandfather Clément Right himself heard her say that.
(That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.)
🙂
The only good news in all this is that he hates firearms and don’t know how to operate them.
From another article...
“This recent incident not Serrato’s first brush with controversy.
In 2014, Serrato and two of his fraternity brothers were charged in connection to the hazing death of Fresno State freshman Philip Dhanens.
Prosecutors say Serrato purchased the alcohol and encouraged the 18-year-old pledge to take his last large gulps while binge drinking.
Serrato pleaded no contest and was sentenced to 90 days in jail.”
Dude is “on leave” (paid?) pending “further review.” Let’s hope it isn’t merely some time off.
So does this mean that We are no longer “hitler’s” ?
