>>>Nudity does not equal porn. The human body is a beautiful work of art as evident in millions of pieces of art throughout history. There was nothing sexual about what she did. 3/4s of the world can enjoy the human form without sexually perverted thoughts.>>>
Just curious, please no offense intended.....may I ask, are you a Bible reading Christian, one who studies the word of God? Specifically how it warns us against all temptation? The lust of the flesh, etc? Again, no offense, we may be using a different standard of behavior, including dress and modesty as Paul admonishes us to use.
No offense....
“Specifically how it warns us against all temptation? The lust of the flesh, etc?”
No offense taken. However, lust of the flesh does not require nudity. Perversion of thought is a weak or corrupted mind.
The vast, vast majority of rapes and sexual assaults are committed against fully clothe women. And no, they did not ask for it. I can look at beautiful women and admire her beauty without lusting after her. I can even go to a beach.
The temptation to me would be the perversion of thought. There are plenty of super famous church paintings (e.g. Sistine Chapel) and statues (Michelangelo’s 15th-century sculpture of David) with nudity in them, so I don’t believe nudity is the issue.
