As I have said, the US has its own huge loopholes of “socialism”. If you are going to call country A “socialist” and country B less socialist, then you have to take these things into account. And there is an extensive literature out there on just that.
Socialism is bad. But thats not the point here.

Until you can show me a complete audit of sources of income that go towards the healthcare system, I can maintain my position. Secret taxes are still taxes. If I were taxed a nickel on a bag of chips, that went towards healthcare, I am a nickel poorer and robbed of my future by a nickel. It’s immoral.
If you justify socialized healthcare, you are justifying slavery. Whether it is practiced in Europe or America, socialist medicine is medicine that is paid for by the enslavement of people. Arguing that it is cheaper to do it this way is only arguing for the enslavement of people, because you think you are saving money for yourself.
