Years ago, I spent a week in England visiting Friends in London. Took a day trip on a tour bus and walked around those rocks at Stonehenge. I was disappointed it was so small. Maybe people were smaller then too.
The villages we passed through were absolutely delightful.
I had the same impression in 1986. I was more impressed with the little town that had donkeys wandering around.
