I don’t believe that pressure on either his shoulder or the side of his neck would have killed him, but pressure on his back could have - like a boa constrictor. It was the black cop who was on his back, but I don’t know for how long, so I don’t know if it was for long enough to have killed him.

I think the first 6 or 7 minutes on Floyd were justifiable, because of the big fight he put up, but then Chauvin should have got off.

I think every doctor that mismanages a patient and the patient dies as a result should also be prosecuted.

ADC is a problem. If Kenisha borrows a 1 year old from her cousin in Detroit tell the caseworker it was born at home and get as much as going to work.

Chauvin should be pardoned before the political Gods.

Watch The Fall of Minneapolis. You’ll see proof positive how this man was absolutely railroaded.

There needs to be a Sense of Congress resolution in favor of a pardon for Mr. Chauvin.

Chauvin’s only “wrong” was that in that time and that instance, he was white, making him an easy excuse for the racist leaders agenda of white cop bad.
Floyd was already dead from what he ingested, it just hadn’t fully exacted its effect. No way the police could or would be able to get the drugs out of him. Floyd made his choice.
The police letting him loose even partially could have resulted in worse happening and Floyd did harm to someone the public out cry of why did police not stop it or do enough to try to help Floyd. They followed protocol from what I read back then.
If someone overdoses. they overdosed. Very few times can it be changed.

You are correct. In one picture, Floyd is down on his stomach, and fluid is seeping out of his mouth. Officer Chauvin appears completely unconcerned.
This does NOT mean Chauvin murdered Floyd. It does mean that cops now have to consider what a camera might capture, along with everything else.
What a mess.

Would-be thieves would be carted to the back room and threatened to be thrown into the bailer..

This is a dead end, literally.
Chauvin needs better counsel (again) because he needs extreme relief. Evidence that could have exonerated him of Murder3 was never presented at trial.
Chauvin is actually not guilty of Murder3, and his non-guilt of Murder3 is more than sufficient reason to overturn his Murder2.

Good! Another life ruined because of the liberal mob.

There are bad cops. Derek Chauvin was a bad cop. He should spend time in prison for what he did. But he should be out now. The appropriate charge should be manslaughter.

Policing while white.
It’s a crime in a lot of places.
Where?
Look at a 2024 electoral map.
In blue counties Trump didn’t carry it’s a crime.

why? st floyd died of a fentanyl overdose, chauvin didn’t give him the fentanyl

He might want to claim he thought the victim was a healthcare ceo, or a marine vet on a subway,...or TRUMP.

“..Some poor slob is waiting in a check-out line. He’s going to buy something he really needs with his last $20 bill. And he sees a shoplifter breeze right past him with a cart full of stolen items....”
^That’d be me!^
Last year, I was in a Lowes picking up ceiling paint and generally shopping.
5 guys came in with two shopping carts. One went to the tool section, two went to the electrical section with the carts. The other two went to the ladder section, grabbed a latter and met their fellow thieves in the electrical section where they proceeded to load both carts to the brim with breaker panels, breakers, etc. mostly from the top shelves. They then used a pair of stolen bolt cutters from the tool section to cut the padlocks on the wire cages and loaded a bunch of cable as well. Then, they all calmly proceeded right out the exit door to their waiting truck, loaded the truck and drove off...
Not a single solitary soul tried to stop em. Although I always remain armed for self-defense purposes, and I could have probably dropped every one of em right there in their tracks, However, I was certainly NOT going to prison for trying to help out Lowes. Instead, I went ahead and spent my last $50 on the paint that I needed for the bedroom ceiling and left amazed and shaking my head all the way to my truck over what I had just witnessed.
It’s unsustainable, and at some point, it’s gonna have to be stopped...one way or another.

Being recorded on video is not the only threat to police from bystanders. The Minneapolis PD *approved* the knee-hold move that Chauvin used, mostly to enable officers to keep at least one hand free in case they come under physical attack from the onlookers while they are placing someone under arrest. That's the reality of police work in such places - and a detail that was never mentioned in court, IIRC.
Chauvin didn't look particularly nonchalant to me, he looked like an urban cop doing his job.

We were told by Chauvin himself of this .... "some other information in the future that will be of interest..." a few years ago.
