This doesn't surprise me. Christianity had traveled to India and Africa in the 1st century, and China by then, or a little later.

Atheists and other doubters always demand evidence.
Biblical Archaeology magazine (I am a long time subscriber) regularly has articles about finds that prove this or that about some mentions in the Bible.
A saying by scholars is our Bible is not a simple history book. Some allegory, some history, poetry, songs (Psalms) and teachings in parable.
For decades doubters thought King David was fictional until references to him were finally found.
The 1993 Aramaic language Tel Dan Stele, the earliest known extra-biblical reference to the House of David.
