If these are foreign we *should* shoot them down. But as we saw with the Chinese balloons team Biden let them fly the entire country before shooting, so who knows? If these are domestic military, I could see us being quiet about it to a point but with so much media reportage it’s hard to deny and cover forever. And why fly them over NJ and DC areas? Live drills to protect the Capitol? Why not do it in Nevada and Arizona etc to test detection, radar, jamming frequencies, counter intelligence etc? What else could they be doing if not testing and detecting? Scanning frequencies for the populations’ WiFi and cellular intercepts?
I could definitely see where we would be and should be highly active in testing next generation type drones for military use. But why there and why now? Very strange.
These are not drills. They have a purpose, a mission.
