I didn’t notice any American beers being drunk, although they were available.

I am not a great fan of Canadian large brewers. However, Canada as the USA has a thriving micro brewery business. These micro breweries turn out some fine Ales as do we.

I lived in the UK for a few years. When I returned home to the USA our beers really were bad, this was in 1980. With the advent of Micro Breweries we now brew beer the equal and better. The alcohol content of American Micro Breweries tend to be a little higher than the UK beers.

I used to drink a lot of British beers, hard to find now. Whitbread’s, John Courage, Double Diamond. Can’t seem to find them anymore, out of business? Now, mostly American micro-brews and some Hoegarrden a Belgium wheat. But about half as much as the good ole days.
