I remember my father and his good friend drinking “Carling’s Black Label” and “Seagram’s V.O.” on vacation at Kelly’s Pine Lodge about 40 miles from Sudbury, back in the early 60’s. Now it’s owned by Molson/Coors, not available in very many places in the U.S. Now, Dow beer I’m not familiar with. Back in the states they mostly drank Rheingold, another defunct beer. I remember my first whole bottle my dad gave me on a hot day when I was about 14, early ‘60s. It was delicious.
