Viewers, especially young viewers are cutting their cable and satellite cords and subscribing to streaming services. NBA games aren’t always part of the streaming services lineup and as a consequence, game viewership is slipping away.
I think that’s very true. I cut the chord and my Red Wings with it. I’m not going to pay Bally’s a subscription multiple times what other subscriptions cost just to watch them. It’s absurd.
I watch YouTube highlight videos instead, after the game.
(Yes, I know there’s some ways around all this but it is not close to optimal.)
