Many people don’t. The dangers of polio are part of ancient history to many folks, and therefore the danger doesn’t exit.
Do we know? The absence of cases does not prove that Polio vaccinations are needed in children. Human beings can pass down immunity, like small pox did not affect European settlers as much as Indians. Quit making it mandatory until you know by double blind studies and other ways, if it is working as promised. Polio had nearly vanished in the US before the vaccines came out.
Blind faith is no way of doing science.
