“”””Nursing is a good occupation for those who cannot qualify themselves as doctors.””””

Nurses are like the high IQ NCOs we see in the military, they prefer to be at the level they are at, being a doctor or a Major is an entirely different world and level of responsibilities, rules, and commitment, and not everyone wants them and that entirely different lifestyle, peer pressure and competition and work atmosphere, some prefer to be at the hands-on level and feel more comfortable there.

Remember the Peter Principle, some people consciously avoid it and want to be comfortable at a guaranteed level of high competency and talents, and do not wish to move to a level where they might be in constant stress and strain.

I recognize that, in some areas, nurses are far more knowledgeable than doctors. Especially in the areas of administering medication.

I’d rather have a top-notch nurse for their knowledge than a doctors, when it comes to what the person was trained to do. Nurses, I find, are far more quick to diagnose problems at their level than doctors are at theirs.
