Don’t they have a Hoyer lift?

They’re telling me that he needs a Hoyer lift but the physical therapist with the home health service advised against it. It becomes a destructive crutch and leads to more weakness.

The Hoyers are not the best always. My husband is a big guy, male nurses, or whatever they were called, could move him fast and carefully.

Yup. But a lot of newer ER have rooms set up with an overhead lift.
