Too many people don’t think to any depth. Those who don’t know history, particularly the history of our Nation’s founding, are prone to making grievous mistakes with respect to governing philosophy. Worse yet, they don’t take those matters seriously or consider the impact of poor choices upon the future.

I understand and agree. I think our worst fallacy is our own blind trust and arrogance. “Never happen here!” is exactly how we got in this situation. We trusted our government and we gave them credit for having some resemblance of respect for the people and it was our fatal mistake. They do not, and we should have NEVER trusted them, If we have learned anything at all we still should NEVER trust them.
