we know NOTHING about him.

my suspicion is that he was an ATF/FBI agent who went rogue/bonkers

there are dozens upon dozens of books written about Charles Manson and Ted Bundy types yet there is absolutely NOTHING known about Paddock — not even a HS yearbook photo.
There are still bloggers today that chase down each & any possible connection to Manson and his travels prior to Tate-Labianca but no one has done any research about Paddock

I saw quite extensive coverage of Steven Paddock shortly after the shooting. Details about his father, his father's crimes, Paddock's growing up, how he became a gambler, his history with women, how he behaved at the casinos, and more. It did not appear to be "NOTHING".
