Same here. Anybody who assaulted a LEO should be prosecuted.
BUT, my first guess is that there was no assault and that the Democrats want to be able to say a that violent J6 protestors was pardoned without being punnished. So look for these kind of indictments all the way to J20.
When assault BY an "officer" is routinely vigorously investigated and prosecuted, I'll start to have some smidgen of interest in prosecuting assault ON an "officer".
