You should be fired if you have gotten a DWI
I just retied after 40 years in the nursing field,
and I am pleased that I devoted my life to helping others.
(Mostly, they were the elderly)
I carry all those whom I cared for, in my heart.
I don’t drink AT ALL, and have never received even a parking ticket.
I’ve had co-workers show up drunk, and some were high too.
They were canned on the spot and rightly so!
I can’t imagine how the families of my patients
would have reacted to a mugshot of a DWI on TV,
and then see that same person caring for their loved one!
