Russia has thrown every thing it has at a 3rd rate military power and has lost over 760,000 casualties in 4 years. and getting worse as the daily casualty count has averaged above 1,500 a day for months and even hit 2,100!

The there are the Syrian troubles for which there is no apparent way out - even evacuation of Russian troops is an iffy proposition. Even resupply is not possible.

There are no 100,000 man Armies to come marching to the rescue.

There is a 400,000 worker shortage because of the SVO. The rubble is crashing without heavy support, both causing the Russian economy to go into a slow collapse.

Would it be nuclear suicide? Shooting a few tactical nukes at Ukrainian troops is not the same thing as launching ICBM’s at Nato nations. And let’s be honest. What did Europe do when Hitler started his belligerent nationalism? Nothing. If he gets desperate enough to call NATO’s bluff, well, it could get dicey.

After all, Ukraine is not a nato nation. There is no real obligation to help. Just like with Afganistan.
