The music biz was taken over by the lawyers. Art in general went corporate. It all kinda sux right now. But world music is still listenable. Guitars are boring with the brass sections gone missing.
One of my pilates instructors plays a soundtrack of Muzak that includes The Pixies and Violent Femmes. I cannot stop laughing.
