British rock band Sports Team was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight on Monday when they had stopped for coffee in California on the first day of their US tour.
The band — consisting of frontman Alex Rice, guitarists Rob Knaggs and Henry Young, bassist Oli Dewdney, drummer Al Greenwood, and keyboardist Ben Mack — touched down in California ahead of their first gig in Sacramento on Tuesday.

It’s kalifornia. That dump has no “nicer areas.” Even the elites in Beverly Hills are being robbed.
Fifty years ago tourists were frightened to go out on the streets of LA after seeing Hollywood’s crime shows on TV. They were told it actually was safe, just be aware of those around you.
But that was fifty years ago. Now it has become dangerous, not because of TV shows but democrat indifference to criminal activity.

Yeah, I’m 50 years born and raised in Southern California (moved 15 years ago to Texas) and I know there’s crime everywhere even the nice areas. But still....there is a difference between say Arcadia CA and say.......La Puente CA or Compton. That’s kinda what I meant to say. But yeah....there’s crime and homelessness everywhere.....just a lot more in some than others.

I’ve been to CA a few times and not once was it my idea. One Halloween (yeah, I know), we were parked by Fredericks of Hollywood to do the walk of fame and sight see, but left early just in case. We walked into our hotel room, flipped on the tv and the news was all about Fredericks being ransacked by gays who stole everything including the clothing racks.

Vallejo isn’t a ghetto. It’s a medium-sized town about 25 miles east of The City (SF) and just south of Napa Valley. I used to stay at the Vallejo Motel 6 when visiting the Bay Area.
That is interesting since a murderous trans cult or trans gang led by a person called Ziz is based in Vallejo and has just been connected to the murder of a border guard in Vermont, murders in California, and Pennsylvania.
