“Amendment VI says they would have to be prosecuted where their crimes were committed - DC and NYC. They would not get convicted.”

They are government employees, who committed Sedition, and potentially helped adversarial governments against the people of the United States. They were members of the Executive Branch, and not ‘civilian’. Therefore, I think a good case could be made that they be tried by the military, overseen by the SCOTUS, which means GITMO. They should not be given civilian courts, especially those who had TS access.
