We used to stop at Tony’s before heading to the outlets by Frankenmuth. A side of bacon, 1 pound, was enough for the entire family.
Grand haven is is a nice town it does get busy in the summer and the coast guard festival is fun. I do like the beaches and food. Pronto pups are great but get there early. It does have a nice CG shopette across from the station if you need travel stuff and alcohol.
My daughter was born in Grand Rapids, MI. I worked for the Repub party there, calling people to contribute $$$. So successful at that, the state finance chairman asked me to move to the capitol city and work for the party on a paid basis. Didn’t do it.
Grand Rapids was a lovely small city then. No clue how great/horrible the place is now.
