I noticed something. Please look at my post 54. I might be out in left field. Or maybe not.
I looked around a bit. Forgetting what should not be forgotten -- MKUltra run by our own government -- Scott Gottlieb looks like a true apparatchik.
Pushed into the Trump administration (started with Bush II), he seems extraordinarily involved in Pfzier, and a host of other drug companies. Talking a conservative, he looks instead to be quite the chamelon.
Heres something from CNN when they were looking askance at him for his "Republican" ties:
“ 'He currently is serving or has recently served on the boards of major pharmaceutical companies, including GlaxoSmithKline, one of the world’s largest,' said Dr. Michael Carome, director of Public Citizen, a consumer rights watchdog group. 'And he has even more relationships that go back years.'Ties? Big time. He left the first Trump admonistration as therse ties were being examined.":Carome points to Gottlieb’s recent financial disclosure letter to the Health and Human Services associate general counsel for ethics as evidence. In that letter, Gottlieb disclosed financial relationships with over 25 entities, many of them giants in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
“ 'He’s basically been a shill for pharmaceutical corporations for much of his career,' Carome said, 'and that has no doubt framed his thinking'.”
Scott Gottlieb: Conflicts surround Trump’s FDA pick CNN, 4 April 2017.
