Those in the UK responsible for what they did to to England, should be hung or put to death one way or another.

That would surely have happened in the days when England was actually a powerful nation on the world stage. Sadly those days are long gone. The last time capital punishment for treason was carried out in England was in 1946, and in the U.S. it was in 1953.
If we executed people for treason more than half of the US Senate chamber would be empty.
