If that is the case, then I don’t have to worry about my social security income being affected by my other income (interest, investment, etc).

The various gap and advantage plans affect how much coverage I have; there is no tax effect from those, just an income outlay.

I hope one of the things they are looking at is suspending the Required Minimum Distribution. The “no taxes on SS” means nothing to us. Our income is that low, But suspending that RMD I think would go a long way for people to keep that money in the market.
