Good analysis of the plot and characters, especially as to how they match up in real life.

Some observations...

Number Two was always a different character, except for Colin Gordon (2 episodes) and Leo McKern (3 episodes).

The only primary actor that was in nearly every episode (besides Number 6) was the enigmatic butler, played by Angelo Muscat.

The identity of Number One was never disclosed.

Interestingly enough, the series run was 17 (!) episodes...

Prisoner slide. About three years ago now I posted this meme I made on the Q thread. Nobody really commented. McGoohan was such a genius and as the deep state became more public I watched the series again and made this meme. I even found the typeface they used. Many many episodes really make me wonder is McGoohan either knew or saw all this coming. I think it was revealed that number one did not exist, that it was #6 all the time. Just my opinion. Have to run out before a big storm checks in and hit the grocery store. Be Seeing you! One of my favorite episodes was Schizoid Man. I just checked the date on my original meme, Jan 2021. And I was a fan since it was broadcast on tv, my brother and I hung on every episode.
