Speaking at the America First Policy Institute Gala, Stallone called Trump a “mythical character,” likening him to George Washington and even to Jesus Christ, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.”
“Stallone, whose career peaked during Trump’s early years as a real estate mogul, expressed admiration for the incoming president’s achievements, saying no one else could have accomplished what he has.
I am superstitious enough to remember when someone praised Herod Agrippa I that he was like God
They shouted, ‘This is the voice of a god, not of a man.’ Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died” (Acts 12:20–23).
They make it sound like Stallone is a has been. That’s a lie.
Why didn’t Stallone say all these during the previous 4-5 years...?!
I saw the video of Stallone’s introduction of President Trump. It was very moving. I recently read a bio of George Washington, and while reading it, couldn’t help comparing Washington and Trump on some things. I’ve enjoyed watching Stallone’s series “Tulsa King” on Paramount+. Just finished the second season. Dana Delaney, another of my favorites is Stallone’s romantic interest. The show was created by Taylor Sheridan who has done “Yellowstone,” along with “1883,” “1923,” as well as the upcoming “Yellowstone” spin-offs, and most recently “Landman” with Billy Bob Thornton.
