I'm not going to call these people dumbasses. IMHO, it would do us all some good to recognize that there are those of us who were fortunate enough to be born with a well-functioning brain and a good set of instincts. Then, there are those that are not. Those are the people that are prime targets for manipulation by the truly evil in our society. I'm thankful to not be one of them.
