The actress Sharon Stone (who, in my opinion, Looks Like Death Warmed Over) has blamed Donald Trump’s stunning election victory on “uneducated” Americans who cannot afford to travel abroad.
Speaking at a press conference at the Torino Film Festival in Italy, Stone went on a rant about how America would soon become like Italy under fascism because of “uneducated” people who voted for Trump.

I have picked up a little German and Italian (although not near fluent or even conversational in any). I spent two months in the Czech Republic and found Czech to be utterly impenetrable, never got past Please and Thank You. Is Hungarian of there Slavic family or other?

Hungarian is part of the Finno-Ugraic language family. Its only real relative is Finnish. (Estonian is basically a dialect of Finnish). and no, Finnish and Hungarian are not mutually understandable. The Hungarians were the last major ethnic group to arrive in Europe 1100 years ago in 900 AD. They came from what is now central Russia near the Urals though they are not ethnically Russian.

In my life’s experiences I have learned being smart does not make one perfect. Some of the world’s best criminals have high IQ’s. There is so much that makes up the human personality that the IQ is really a small part of it.
A Mensa outfit hosted a Y2K forum on their website. The forum members were basically preppers that believed Y2K would create enough havoc where civilization would end as we know it. My point is, I often felt they hosted it just to study the forum members. And I seriously doubt if any of the members knew what Mensa was.
