@tunguz

It was far from obvious at the time, but this was one of the major inflection points of human history.

Sorry about that I can’t alter it much otherwise these X threads get pulled

The best thing to do is just quote them I think then no one complains about misleading, click bait or other stuff 😂

Happy Holidays!

“I was wary of Trump when he first decided to run in 2015. “

Then you probably hadn’t read “The Art Of The Deal” yet.

I read it in 1990 and KNEW he HAD to be President at some point in time.

“He is an opportunist and is capable of the unexpected.”

I think he’s basically truthful. It’s been said that he might have a mild case of Asperger’s Syndrome — a type of autism. They’re literal, and have difficulty being deceitful or manipulative.

Like Trump, he seems to blurt out the truth. Trump because he’s from Queens, and Musk because (maybe) of Asperger’s. Both are honest and both are successful.

Anyhow, I’m not a shrink. Just an observation.

You were better read and could see things I couldn’t back then. Another factor was I think a lot of us were beginning to feel quite betrayed by the string of candidates the pubs had given us going back to Reagan. I was becoming somewhat cynical. I wasn’t anti Trump just wanted to see how the primaries unfolded. It’ didn’t take me too long to decide.

He is a likable guy and a kick in the pants. And he is a businessman same as I. But he has had a list of failures along with the successes. And I have used his products. Using the products gave me mistrust...

“Then when I add Vance and Thiel, and Bessnet and Soros, there is a pattern I see that concerns me.”

I’m really concerned about that Vance and Thiel connection. along with his connections with Schmidt, and Andreessen. Toss in Musk and we have a crew around Trump I am not real sure about either.

Well that is not the truth they wanted to hear AC. But I am right in there with you on this. There are things most do not see yet. Or they turn a blind eye to it. My first suspicions came when I found out about Stanford. Musk didn’t go to Stanford two days and drop out. He was recruited into something much bigger as soon as he got there. And anyone who truly knows Stanford knows they are a deep state recruiting source. He was chosen for a future role and purpose.

“Why can’t Democrats have an Elon Musk or a Joe Rogan.”

Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich and Rush Limbaugh all have one thing is common: they were all Democrats until they started dealing with government.

Oh I like his open honesty about most things. He “tells it like it is” and that is excellent. But in turn he still refuses to acknowledge his failures. He has had a few of those too. Tesla is one of them. To this day it was not the fault of his own decisions or Tesla. But it was. He still persists with the truck without any change and it is ugly and the country hates it. This tinge of arrogance and denial leads to some mistrust for me.

The experience I had with Starlink was enough to give me great mistrust. They are putting a script in our boxes and cryptojacking computing resources and monitoring our use. It is a violation of the first degree many do not realize. A truly good guy would not do this.

Also a similarity with Trump. Operation Warp Speed.

He is mad because in his quest to screw with people the title didn’t give him enough to jump on right away. He had to go out of his way to come look and see if there were any opportunities available.

Elon is a scam, and will be remembered like the Bushes some day. Don’t fall for the show they present to you,

If true, then Trump is part of it and the "show" is too big to defeat.

An individual has two choices - 1) play along with the show, be productive, make money, and teach your children to also play along but remain free thinkers, or 2) fight the show openly and self-righteously, achieve martyr status, and get banned/destroyed/imprisoned.

I don't see that combination of Sam Adams and Ludwig von Mises who could destroy the show without taking the whole country down anywhere on the future political landscape, not even in J.D. Vance.

Trump has his hidden sides too. No one ever talks about his past in NY. Does anyone really believe he did all that he did in real estate without needing to rub shoulders with the mob? Most Construction contractors and subcontractors in NYC are mobsters. I think that is where he got his “Moxy”. He had to do business with these mobsters and stand his own making deals with them.

Of course he dealt with mobs in construction in NYC. I believe he’s said as much. You can’t run a laundromat in NYC without contact with the mob. “Rub shoulders” could = “negotiate”.

I agree, even considering neurolink is a huge red flag for me. Why even go there? Medical, will it stop there? I don’t believe it one bit. We are entering Matrix territory here...
