I love it when they say something akin to, “We haven’t a clue as to why it seems to do what it seems to do”. Makes me really crave some /sarc

It took over 100 years to figure out how aspirin works. Just sayin'...

Different times = different technologies.

It’s especially troubling when the “We don’t have a clue what it’s doing” relates to brain/mental issues.

60 years ago they discovered using thalidomide as a sedative for pregnant women was a bad idea - today, they use it (under new names) for certain cancers and HIV, etc..

It should scare folks that they don’t know what a lot of drugs do to folks and sometimes it takes quite a while to find out if they cause tragedies...Just sayin’...
