My old high school had a book in the library, probably Time-Life series, survey of little-known civs. That was the first time I’d heard of them — “The Etruscans: An Historical People Who Left No History”. Most Etruscan texts that survive are short ones, on funerary monuments.
It’s just something on my Christmas list every year, along with a Minoan-Greek dictionary and some Great Pyramid blueprints. Draft of a new play in Shakespeare’s shaky hand. I’m not asking for Atlantis. :(
