Glad its workin now-
Speaking of magically starting to work, I did a macrium reflect clone of my dual boot drive, windows 10 and Linux mint- (both were offline) and went to plug it in and lost my Linux grub menu and could only boot to windows.
I spent days, hour upon hour trying to figure out how to get the grub menu back- to no avail. I even finally got up at 1 am last night and tried something else, for 3 hours- didn’t work, would not boot to grub menu. I knew Linux was there, but there was no getting to it
Anyway, long story short- I unplugged the drive, put my old one back in, went to bed. Got up this am and put the new drive back in to check on somehting I had thought of during the owning hours, and lo and behold the grub menu was back and could boot to Linux and windows
I have NO IDEA how or why it all of a sudden started working.
I hate computers lol
My attitude towards computers is exactly the same as Oddball's attitudes towards tanks ...
