I just got through a similar problem with the touch pad. Microsoft now has some very good tools and instructions to identify and solve most problems. May i suggest that you open an edge browser window and search for “Fix sound or audio problems in Windows” That should get you to the widows trouble shooter.

i recommend you have a pad and pen/pencil handy to make notes if needed. you may find it useful to have your cell phone camera handy to take pictures of instructions if you ave to move to other pages as part of the trouble shooter.

If you are not feeling like doing trouble shooting, you should be able to call the manufacturer to walk you through Device Manager and finding and updating drivers.

PS. Sorry, I can’t comment upon the browser settings.

Instead of Edge I use the Mozilla FireFox browser. I have not updated from Win 10 to Win 11 yet.

Im not familiar with the idiosyncracies of the Win 11 version of browser.

It magically started working, so however it did it I’m not questioning. But, yes, always a paper and pencil.

One day I’m going to go all Elvis on Edge.
