I never wanted kids. How is my not having kids a detriment to society? There is no shortage of people breeding.
What you write is true.
I remember my Dads brother answering my question of “why do you only have two children”?
I came from a family of 7 children, although at the time there were only 5, there would be 2 more sisters. I can remember singing to the youngest in her crib, I was 14 year old.
Back to my Uncle, the answer to my heartfelt question was, “Haven’t you ever heard of Planned Parenthood, look it up”. His fruit came to the fore when his children and Wife abandoned him. He did end up with a 57 Chevy two door wagon, and a Z car.
Everyone hated him, even my Father who raised him. He acted superior when he was abandoned by his Mom, after Grandpa passed.
Dad gave up a job of controlling Water in the Klamath Valley. Moved to Tacoma and rescued him from Reman Hall. He
plumbed him up, while raising my oldest Brother. He gave up a lifetime job to sell Knives for Cutco, and worked another shift at a Pulp Mill.
My Father was a Hero, my Uncle was one of the most selfish human beings you could imagine. He was a ZERO.
He was the male version of a cat lady.
The problem is in the contempt shown to people who have children, especially if they have over two and in the active discouragement of people having children.
Even adopting children is frowned on. I guess we should just chuck kids with dead or bad parents into meat grinders.
“I think the problem is with what leftist culture has done to our boys,”
I agree. That’s why I am happy to see Trump choosing men like Hegseth and Elon and Vance. They’re manly and accomplished, and will be good role models for boys.
