I'm fervently hoping that we are smart enough to use the carrot as well as the stick... Go after the worst violent scum first. The ones that just wanted a fast path to a better potential life could sincerely want to be cooperative. I hope we treat them rather well, including free seats on decent buses and flights, and maybe even some startup money (like Kamala's magical fix-everything $750). We only need to be harsh with those who caused more harm even after crossing the border illegally. Give the other 10m a reason to work with us.
