Nancy Pelosi is finished — no one deserves more blame for Dems $1B electoral collapse
NY Post ^ | 11/17/24 | Miranda Devine

It’s high time to shatter the myth of Nancy Pelosi as a master strategist. Nobody deserves more blame than the ridiculously self-titled “speaker emerita” for the Democrats’ $1 billion electoral collapse.

Under her ruthless leadership, her party lost the White House, the House, the Senate and the popular vote. You can’t say that enough.

Voters rejected the Dems coast to coast, even in Pelosi’s deepest-blue home city of San Francisco, which saw a 7-point swing to Donald Trump.

She’s the only speaker in history to have lost control of the House twice.

She’s finished.

The empress emeritus has no clothes, perish the thought.

And yet she still has the hide to reward herself with another term, filing the papers last week to run for re-election in 2026, at the tender age of 86! She’ll be 88 at the end of Trump’s term.

When is too much enough?

Her saccharine-coated “Mean Girls” style of partisan viciousness and deviousness turns out to have done nothing for her party but postpone the inevitable reckoning between radical left and common sense moderates. Unfortunately for the Dems, most of the latter have taken a hike under Pelosi’s reign.

If the GOP is Trump’s party, the Democratic Party is Pelosi’s — and what a viper’s nest of blame-shifting and rancor it has become, as they all blame each other for their humiliating defeat at the hands of the man they derided as a Nazi. Most Americans didn’t agree, and now the Democrats and their media handmaidens stand exposed as frauds and liars.

If Trump is such an “existential threat” to democracy, as Pelosi insisted to the bitter end, then why did Joe Biden greet him with open arms and a beaming smile the other day?

“Welcome back,” said the president...

I remember when this nutjob, Pelosi, took the House gavel. I was stunned that someone so divorced from reality would seize the Democrat leadership position. I remember the day very well — sometime before the year 2000, I think — and I simply could not stop shaking my head in disbelief.

What does any of that have to do with Fancy Nancy possibly facing a Dem opponent for the seat?

“no one deserves more blame for Dems $1B electoral collapse”

Many will disagree, however the GOPe/uniparty/deep state had as much or more to do with ruining the country the last two decades as they collectively enabled Nanzi all the way. Hopefully President Trump will excise this infection starting January 20th, 2025.

Does Hillary have a spare broom she can lend to the cause?

Now wait a minute, let’s be fair. One does not change a baseball coach and GM just because they have a single bad game. Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden deserve respect and consideration for their service to America on election day in 2024 and should remain at the top of Democratic politics for at least another decade, two or even three if possible. Before making any changes, the Democrats should stay the course and make sure that their loss in 2024 was not an isolated fluke but is a genuine losing streak, a long, long losing streak.

“Pelosi goading Harris into passing herself off as a billion dollar “black woman,” so far removed from the everyday black experience, was surely the stupidest.”

And Kamala still got about 85% of the black vote, talk about a group stuck on stupid!

She can’t bear to give up the insider information that her husband uses to trade stocks on. She is said to be worth $240 million not counting what she has stashed in offshore accounts.

It’s hard to say what was the stupidest.

Citizens are devastated by the cost food, gas, and housing, but she thought endorsements by celebrity dolts could impress them and win them over.

She had no policies except, “I’m not Trump”. When questioned about policies she simply did not respond.

The electorate were devastated by costs of food, gas, and housing, but her response was not
solutions but “concerts,” believing endorsements by celebrities would impress and win votes.

Pecker puss Pelosi basically pulled a Matt Gaetz by pushing Biden out without a Plan B. Kamala was plan Z. Maybe if she didn’t publicly brag about stabbing Biden in the back she wouldn’t appear to be so guilty.

I hope Trump persecutes pecker puss Pelosi’s crime family. How did she accumulate a 200 million net worth?

I think there are different ways to consider NP’s legacy. For one, she is 86 now and just like with an aging athlete one shouldn’t give much weight to how they performed at the end of their career. IE, we don’t judge Mike Tyson’s career by how he looked against Jake Paul.

It’s more of an indictment on Democrats than on NP that she is still leading them at her age. To use another boxing analogy, it reminds me of when George Foreman un-retired at age 45 or whatever and yet was still competitive. To me that was an indictment on the state of heavyweight boxing and indicated that hardly any halfway decent 200+ lb athlete wanted to go into boxing (who could blame them?). Perhaps a similar conclusion could be made about Democrats and thus that is why their bench is so thin.

But you have to give the Devil his due and so i’ll admit that NP has been a very effective politician, albeit effective in the sense of poisoning American politics by pushing the country further to the left than arguably anyone else has ever done. If judged strictly on how skilled she was at getting done what she wanted to get done, it can’t be denied that she played that game very well most of her career.

VERDICT: NP is extremely manipulative and as such was a force in the Democrat party for decades. Her effect on the country was awful from the standpoint of common sense and decency, but one can admire the skill of a villain even if they don’t admire the villain.
