That’s not true. Tyson is one of the most famous modern-days philosophers: “Everyone has a plan, until he gets punched in the face”
25% seemed to be the magic number on my TV too.
Totally agree.
And now you know why they did this. Practice practice practice. Only one way to see how your infrastructure can handle that many live connections. So now they know where their problems are and have a month to fix them.
The couldn’t handle the throughput I should have said.
Folks over on X mentioned some source saying Tyson wouldn’t get big bucks if he knocked out Paul. The clips I saw looked like Tyson either tiring or holding back purposely.
In the 80’s I watched every boxing match they held. A great period for boxing fans. Does anyone here know any matches that were suspect of being fixed? Not just criminally bad scorecard results but ones that were deliberately thrown by the loser?
I always thought it odd that in a period of pristine boxing talent where a champ like Duran could come out of retirement over and over, one of the BEST of all, Marvin Hagler quit forever out of the blue after a lackluster performance against Sugar Ray Leonard. I was not a Leonard fan but he was a very talented fighter. That effort by Haglar didn’t look right.
Every drunk guy in a bar will challenge Mike Tyson to a fight knowing that they will win even when drunk.... 🥊🍻
