The term “replication crisis” is now often used in medicine and the life sciences for the frequent inability to replicate study data and results. It is very real. "Science" has become a moniker to justify ideological screeds designed to influence policy, not to find objective truth.
I call it "Scientism", or use of the term and forms of science to pursue influence and goals.
Climate alarmism is one of the most sucessful of these schemes.
Even worse than climate alarmism is the poor quality of much medical research. Drug companies looking to pursue new leads based on published studies have learned not to trust them but to run replication studies. Often, what has been published fails.
