If a 747 crashed in Seville in the 15th century - would Columbus have flown to America? Not likely.

We would not have the scientific and manufacturing ability to reverse engineer alien technology.

I would tend to agree. Maybe if you came across some ‘craft’ that was 100 years more advanced...you could backwards re-engineer it (figure 10 to 20 years).

Beyond that? Say a craft that was 1,000 years more advanced? Then you say that you can only have five to ten engineers with massive secrecy involved? You could waste 40 years and have minimum to show for the effort.

The bulk of this whole story is not believable. The rest of it...suggesting massive alien visitations? I’m still waiting for more evidence. Meanwhile, I’m wondering...wouldn’t the Russians and Chinese have their own programs?

“We would not have the scientific and manufacturing ability to reverse engineer alien technology.“

Exactly my thought upon reading that they grabbed this tech and shared it only among a select group. They would need every big brain on the planet and would be lucky if they cracked any tiny aspect of it.

I agree

Hand a cellphone 📱📱📱 or 1,000 to the Egyptians of Moses time

Let them have at

They’ll end up smashing them with rocks to see what’s inside and then still have no idea what they’re looking at, how to make it work or how to duplicate it for what purpose

Actually, they would have understood many parts of it. People were studying how wings work. There were mills with gears and water power. The fundamentals of how this “move” were understood.

Could they have replicated the materials? Could they understand the computerization of the systems? To both a resounding “No.”

But it would not have been a complete waste of time.

They key here is that if the stories are true, the government is sending these findings to individual companies and keeping all of this secret. Picking winners and losers in a market system is what fascist governments do. It is literally the economic model of fascism.

I think the number of “alien” systems found is small. But I do believe that a majority of sightings are from government agencies operating in the wild.

Releasing “free energy” and “frictionless transportation” technology would destroy the economy and bring down the “oil based” system we have been working on since the 1970s.

indeed ... this whole notion of somehow benefiting from “advanced alien” technology is nonsense ... it would be like a flint-knapping caveman suddenly able to advance his “technology” if a fully functional Windows 7 laptop was handed to him ... no industrial base, no material sciences, no power source, and certainly no ability to understand the theoretical underpinnings ...

in our own situation, we wouldn’t even have screwdrivers that would fit a crashed alien spaceship ...
