Smart to use appropriate components that work, no need to reinvent the wheel, particularly if you’re Lockheed. I very much doubt that there’s going to be a regular-income market for a new SST, particularly if the kinda zany-sounding suborbital point-to-point travel via SpaceX’s Starship comes about.
