Allen West was gerrymandered out of his House district seat by REPUBLICANS who controlled the entire process in 2011.
He was one of 2 conservative House Republicans (too conservative for their squishy colleagues, at least) in Florida who were targeted for extinction in that round of redistricting. The other was freshman Sandy Adams, who was shoved in to a district with a tired old-bull moderate Republican, and she lost in the primary just as the squishes wanted her to.
I’m represented by Waltz. I have a second house on my lot which I’d give, rent-free, to Allen West,
But he is in Texas (I think) and wouldn’t stand for the deprivations in the shrecropper’s shack. (I live minimally while I’m, literally, building my new home)
