How in the world did they come up with that figure? How did they show that level of damages? How was him expressing his opinion on the shooting (dumb as it was)in anyway defaming of the families?

This is very dangerous lawfare and should not stand.

Absolutely. That number alone should have gotten everyone involved sent to prison. It is clearly nonsense and making a mockery of the entire concept of justice.

I have long said there needs to be penalties against courts imposing ridiculous verdicts that in no way reflect the thinking of rational people.

And they've done this same sort of sh*t to Giuliani.

Time to put judges and juries in prison for malfeasance and dereliction of duty.
