This is just a screenshot from moments ago on CNN's Upfront. (11.12.24).
I feel like opening up the champagne...again, twice in one week.
"Words matter," indeed!
Regards,
Gaza was administered by Egypt for a long time. Many Gazans have Egyptian roots.

Gaza was indeed administered by Egypt for a significant period. Here’s a detailed overview of Egypt’s administration of the Gaza Strip:
Egyptian Control of Gaza (1948-1967)
After the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, Egypt gained control of the Gaza Strip, a small territory along the Mediterranean coast1. This period of Egyptian administration lasted for nearly two decades, from 1948 to 19675.
Nope.
One thing we never hear about is that around the time of Israeli independence, about 700,000 Jews were expelled from or made so uncomfortable in other Muslim nations that they left.
Why do we never hear about them? Because Israel took them in and they embraced their new homeland and lived their lives.
In the early days of negotiations, Israel was asked to compensate the people now called Palestinians. Israel asked for compensation for the Jews who had been expelled. This request was refused.
The so-called Palestinians equivocate: they say they mourn the loss of their ancestral homes, etc., they say they can point out the houses their families lived in for generations (yeah, right).
But the reality is different: there is a Muslim belief that territory once under Muslim rule belongs to Muslims in perpetuity. OBL thought they should get Spain back, for example. This is why the Muslims are so intractable on this small sliver of land.
Phillip II of France did everything in his power to hamstring Richard. He had ulterior motives with John back in England. France was just being France.
Cry HARDER Dems ! ! !
Democrats are attacking the religious faith of several of President-elect Donald Trump’s nominees for senior positions, risking a confrontation with the Constitution, which prohibits the use of religious tests for public office.
Pete Hegseth, who is Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Defense, has been criticized for his tattoos, one of which features a Jerusalem cross. Another includes a Crusader motto that, critics say, has been appropriated by far-right groups.
Meanwhile, former Gov. Mike Huckabee, who has been nominated to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Israel, has been criticized by Democratic Senators specifically for his religious views about the Jews’ right to the Land of Israel.
