No. I’m not neuratic.
They can self imoliate, not my problem.
No. They can figure out that we’re a constitutional republic on their own time and figure out they’ve bent being lied to as they see fit
No. However, there is no joy in being around them. I just see them differently now.
no; but I am self employed, and will not do business with a known libtard. Life is too short.
Absolutely!
Oh, just remembered, I de-friended people who put up nasty insult posts on Facebutt.
No
Sort of….
Not truly cut out. But, don’t make any effort to unnecessarily socialize with one niece.
Thought watching her grow up that she would be the bright light in the family.
Until she went to college in Boston.
Came home a radical left wing ditz.
Even deliberately raised and steered a son to be gay.
Voted Clinton, Obama, Biden, Harris…. and not likely to ever change.
I have not lost any friends due to TDS, but my wife has. People afflicted by TDS live in an alternate reality.
Not cut out completely, but don’t actively seek out interaction with them.
If they want to cut us out, no skin off my back. I won’t fight it.
Good question. No, I have not shut anyone out for voting for Biden.
I wasn’t allowed to see my grandchildren because I did not get the vaccine. I knew better than to start a conversation.
My mother-in-law asked, in a challenging way, if I was going to vote for Trump. I said, yes as a matter of fact I was. I said the economy was better under Trump and the world safer. She said something and was soon reduced to mumbling “Hitler, Hitler.” That was embarrassing to see.
The condo President, who checks on our condo while we are gone, told me that she had gotten the vaccine and 11 boosters. I remained silent.
I’ve had some knock down arguments with my sister. To her credit, she will listen. She told me she had gotten the vaccine. Then she got Covid. Boy was she glad she’d gotten the vaccine. As bad as Covid was, it would have been worse without the vaccine. I didn’t argue. I simply told her that I did not get the vaccine. I took HCQ and zinc and did not get Covid.
My wife was pressured into getting the shot. One charge against the shot is that it messes-up the immune system. She got the shot and developed breast cancer. (Long story short. Lump removed, radiation, aromatase inhibitor. Reduced dose of the aromatase inhibitor!). This is another topic that one cannot introduce with a liberal.
No. My cousin and I have had some fierce arguments discussing politics but then when our families visit each other there is no mention of such things and we get on wonderfully well. Some libs, even some lefties can compartmentalize their time.
I have ended friendships, not for Biden/Harris, but for Jimmah Carter. I was an early adopter.
Heck no! I’d rather gloat and call them losers.....lol
Not yet, but it’s only been five days. I’ll be surprised if I make it to next Sunday without doing so.
I haven’t, but I’ve had a couple of people cut me out of their lives because of how I vote.
Yes. A childhood friend. So much name calling and hostile behavior made it impossible to have a civil conversation. It hurt, but I moved on.
No There is a world of conversation that does not revolve around politics. The internet allows mentally ill people to flock together seeming to be a majority
The left that i know are civil as am I.
I wish mine would.
At my age (74), I'm sorta glad that time has let my family and friends drift away as life does. However, I am so thankful for my Wife and her loving, thoughtful, intelligent, and conservative ways. She helps keep me focused on my values. I need no one else. Well, other than my little doggy.
