MAGA adherents deny and dismiss what they are a part of, but they believe Trump’s lies, and will support him until the end.
At a rally just outside Atlanta in late October, thousands of Donald Trump supporters lined up in the punishing southern sun to see their hero; some had driven hours from out of state. Vendors hawked T-shirts with slogans such as Say no to the ho, and Roses are red, Hunter smokes crack, Joe Biden has dementia and Kamala isn’t Black, sometimes chanting the phrases out loud to amused onlookers.
Hundreds of people still standing in the winding queue shuffled off into a disappointed crowd when told that the venue was now full. Many hung around outside, browsing the vendors’ wares or grabbing a bite at one of the nearby food trucks. They were there to see Trump, but also to enjoy the sense of belonging that comes from being surrounded by the like-minded. They were there to see and be seen, dressed in MAGA hats, MAGA shirts, MAGA tights. Service dogs decked out in stars and stripes, men in silk shirts printed with an image of a bloodied Trump raising his fist. As “Y.M.C.A.” blared from inside the venue, Trump supporters stopped their conversations to sing along and shape their arms with the chorus.

How do the people at Atlantic function successfully in real life? I shouldn’t be surprised at the level of insanity they have achieved and then repeatedly exceeded. But I can’t fathom the thought processes of such demented (as in perverted sick, not dementia ill) people.
Is that his head or is his neck blowing bubbles? The last time I saw a mouth like that, it had a hook in it.

Notice, they never bother to catalogue the supposed lies. Reminds me of the Russia hoax. They never bothered to explain just how the Russians moved in and commandeered the 2016 election, just maintained that the Russians with no previous experience in American elections moved in and beat the democrats at their own game.
Last night I watched a little of a PBS news panel. It was like the twilight zone. A lady was saying that Trump was spouting all those lies about immigration. She turned to a co-panelist and asked him if he believed that invasion angle. The guy said nothing and so she continued as if he had agreed that Trump was lying about immigration and that there was no invasion.
Sounds greatI wish I had been able to attend.
Just what point is the author trying to make?!
The "Lawfare" being waged by his side is a dagger at the throat of the Republic. May Trump's victory continue to stick in his craw.
