JC was just in over his head. Like Biden before him, Kamala would have been worse. I hate to say this, but Trump was also in over his head in his first term. I voted for him and love his ideas, BUT he needs to put the feelings away, and go Rambo on govt and people.

Carter claimed that USA citizens get to vote twice after their 100th Birthday.

They probably told him she won. Easier to deal with.

Yup.

That's nothing -- after they're dead, they can vote hundreds of times, forever.

Thanks, dayglored.

That was a great follow up!

"I think Carter is alive but doesn’t even know where or who he is. My mind has left, his body lives on temporarily due to modern medicine. "

He has that in common with biden. If they have a telepathic connection it would explain the odd moments when biden's brain seems to seize.

I suspect he died before the election, they just didn’t want to say. So he actually voted the traditional Dem way.

And who would have thought the best president since Reagan (other than Trump) was Bill Clinton? Certainly better than Bammy and the Shrubs. Not that he was great, what with the state secrets to China and all.

I am proably a bit older than you but my bottom three would be FDR, Wilson and Obama. All three were consciously trying to “transform” the USA into the USSA. Until 193́ or so FDR was an open admirer f Mussolini. Carter and the Bushes were intelligent fools.

I have mixed feelings about FDR. He turned the federal government into the insatiable monster that it is today. But by golly, he was an excellent wartime president. I will give him that.

Early on FDR realized that only unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan would be acceptable. He rallied the country in that regard. No negotiated peace, as was seen in most previous wars.

Wilson, yes. I totally agree.

I can’t say much good about Obama. He could have healed the racial divide in this country. Instead he made it worse. But at least Obama didn’t start a major - and quite unnecessary war - like Bush II did.

It’s also worth noting that Bush’s invasion of Iraq set off the massive Muslim foot invasion of Europe.

Sorry for the rant. It’s probably due my trouble sleeping. And thanks for touching base!
👍🏻

One more thing about FDR, if you don’t mind. He wisely let his generals and admirals do all the tactical planning. He did not interfere.

Contrast that with LBJ and Bush II. Those two fools (and their civilian lackeys) had their hand in every last detail. They set the rules of engagement. They drew all the arrows on the map.

Utter stupidity! And so we lost Vietnam. And so we lost Afghanistan. Iraq? Time will tell.

He did that. He won the war then gave up half of the winnings to Stalin.

Obama and LBJ built on the legacy of FDR. LBJ was corrupt from the getgo. and Obama’s sympathies were with homosexuals and Moslems. Biden/Harris are fitting heirs of those two.

The Bushes were far to insulated from the peasants. Romney would have fit right in with them. Trump understands the elite and the so called middle class. .
