I have long favored “wheel Guns” six shots is all you need. But, a gun is more dangerous to you than to an enemy unless you know how to use it. This is true for a shot gun, long rifle or musket—get trained before you think about gun ownership.

I used to think that 10-15 years ago. With the way this world is and bad guys traveling in wolf packs, I’m not so sure any more. Even my CZ 75 compact is 15+1, as is my very excellent Turkish clone, the Canik/Tristar C-100. The extra capacity is peace of mind, because, you just never know what you’ll come up against. Add an extra mag and you have 31 rounds. And, even though I do love revolvers and have shot them for years, semi-autos have quicker follow up shots, they’re softer shooting, and more accurate for the most part (double action).
